Freaking A

I RIPPED MY FAVE JOE'S JEANS RIGHT BY THE BUTT CRACK!!

I had to tell.

(blue is for the color of the denim, xl font size means big deal)

CORRECTION,

2 PAIRS IN 2 DAYS! I ripped my Earnest Sewn ones too and in the same spot! I think it's a sign I should do more shopping...

Devil Wears Cynthia Rowley?

Okay, not really. I love working at CR. The Devil Wears Prada is just the closest thing my friends know to working at a fashion house, hence, the title.

But here's the real discussion: I'M GROWN UP! Yesterday night I had dinner with V., my best friend from high school who also works at a fashion house, and we both were just talking about how much unpaid internships suck, potentially moving up in the house, our futures... and it just hit me. I was amazed at how much we've developed. No more talk about classes, professors, parties, drama with friends-- it's now all about (slave) work, lunch dates, sample sales (that never changed), and "men"! And let me tell you, the concept of happy hour now makes A LOT of sense.

Drawback: I look like I'm sixteen, feel like I'm sixteen, I like Transformers, Hello Kitty, and gummy worms... I swear I think it must look like child labor when I'm managing inventory, the website and various files. BUT, whatever! I INTERN AT CYNTHIA ROWLEY! SHE TAUGHT ME HOW TO USE AN INDUSTRIAL IRON!! YAY!

Anyway, I wish the Manhattan hosted lockers or something. I hate lugging my work around all night.
